The forests

The forest of La Coubre extends 25 km from St Palais-sur-Mer to Ronces-les-Bains on the Arvert peninsula, a beautiful forest of marine pines bordering the ocean, subtly perfuming the the sea air and creating a fresh and exhilarating atmosphere.

The wood is crossed by a cycle path, and numerous footpaths wend their way down to the sea and the excellent beaches.

The National Forestry Office proposes outings and guided tours of the forest.
